Archives Unlimited Podcast
Archives Unlimited is a podcast hosted by eight of the biggest fans of the Unlimited Tacos. Each episode, we look into the depths of Blaseball lore, both current and historic, in an attempt to make some sense of this great splort and the communities of people who love it. It is my most ambitious project that I've taken. The name Archives Unlimited was derived from two places - the Archives symbolizing lore and Unlimited to it's association with the Los Angeles Unlimited Tacos. The podcast uses cassette imagery and tape recorder clicks at the beginning of each episode. The infinity symbol could be drawn in a way that would incorporate the initials of the show.
To find out more on what Blaseball is, blaseball.fyi is an unofficial but semi-official blaseball FAQ that gives a rundown on this niche community and it's game. |
Primary Color Palette
Archives Unlimited is a black & white brand. AU is made by the fans of the LA Unlimited Tacos - a fantasy sports team for the online game Blaseball. The team's jersey colors consist of red, green, purple and orange so naturally this was incorporated into the cassette tape imagery.

Secondary Color PaletteOur secondary color palette is an extension of our primary colors & is used for the glitch distortion effect. The lore is that Los Angeles was shattered into a million pieces and different versions of the city across space and time folded into itself like a taco. Fanart depicting Infinite LA would use a distortion effect.

All Blases Eve
All Blases Eve was a charity twitch stream event that ran on October 22nd. Months of preparations and planning were done beforehand to ensure a smooth and streamlined process. Although Blaseball has fans around the world, most reside in the U.S.A. so the stream timezone was set to Eastern Standard Time. We went for a vintage Halloween aesthetic for the tone of the program. All posters were given Alt text for accessibility to visually impaired users.
The hosts of the program did not show their faces on screen for privacy reasons. A face cam engages the and connects to the audience more, but because we could not do that, I thought of using PNGtubers as a work around. These 2D avatars would emote using sound-reactive software. |
